Can straigtening your hair everyday eventually lead to hair loss?

Also, I have to comb my hair every morning or else my hair wont straighten. It tangles easily and I have to comb it hard and clumps of hair come out on the comb. Can straigtening your hair everyday eventually lead to hair loss?
The straightener does not damage the hair follicle it's under your scalp %26amp; hold the hair root. Use a wide tooth comb %26amp; start at the bottom removing tangles. Joico K-Pak Reconstuctor products incl Silk Results, Rusk has a new one Pro Elements Keratin. Also Take Biotin %26amp; Vitamin E, check those out on WebMD %26amp; Google. Use a heat protectant alsoCan straigtening your hair everyday eventually lead to hair loss?
Yes, it can lead to damage, and hair breakage. It won't fall out at the root, but it will begin to damage your hair in the shaft (or the middle of your hair).

It will help if you spray a heat protectant spray on, but you do need to reduce how often you use heat to style and straighten your hair to prevent breakage (therefore hair loss).

Try other styles, such as putting it up or letting it air dry every other day, etc. to reduce the days that you heat-style and straighten it.

Best of luck.
straightening (or any form of heat styling) is awful to your hair

i've been straightening my hair for years and it used to be half way down my back, but then about a year ago, it had gotten to such a bad condition, that i had to get it cut to my shoulders to get rid of the destroyed parts of it. I then had to stop heating my hair completely, and had to tie it up all the time cos i hated it. I'll never forget the day i had to get it cut. I cried my eyes out because I loved my hair. The point of my long and boring story is that I suggest cutting down on how often you straighten your hair SIGNIFICANTLY and whenever you use heat, use a heat protector, and condition well. People say that you shouldn't heat it more that once a week. but i would say cut down as much as you can unless you want to end up like me. But I'm happy to say that my hair has grown back and it's in really good condition because i stopped straightening it.
Well there is nothing wrong with combing your hair, so that is fine. But if you straighten it everyday without any heat protectant then i'm sure that it's a possibility, because it will give you split ends. Split ends can split all the way to the root which causes them to fall out. If you use a heat protectant and make sure your straightener is at a reasonable temperature then i'm sure you will be fine. I reccomend Tresemme Heat Tamer Spray. It's like a miracle in a bottle for me. It's only $4 and they sell it at any store that sells hair products.

Hope this Helps! %26lt;3
it probably does lead to hair loss..

i mean, straightening your hair is VERY damaging to your hair's natural folical.

i mean, its not good to straighten your hair everyday.. really, its not good to straigten or curl it at all, yet we still do it! :)

just apply a heat protectant spray before you straighten your hair, and you'll be fine i'm sure.
I recently started going to the RCC salon when I turned 14 and yes it does, the heat bruns your hair off unless you put lotion and daily vitamons and minerals in it,but not necessarily hair loss, but hair shedding yes.=]
Probably! But according to new studies from the hair society, using a wet to dry straightener can help reduce the amount one fry's their hair!

Short answer NO!. When you do comb or brush your hair try and brush your scalp this will help with blood flow and a fresh supply of blood is all that is needed to grow hair.
