What's the best hair loss solution?

There are several forms of hair loss. If it is male pattern baldness (Androgenetic alopecia) then the hair loss cannot be fully cured in most cases, but just frozen for some time with the treatments availiable on market today.

1) Hair transplant (FUE technology) creates really natural hairline, no scars, the best way to go if you have enough donor hair and money of course.

2. Propecia (Finasteride) and Minoxidil are the only ones approved by FDA and proven to work in most men so far.

Generic Propecia (finasteride) is also ok. I use it with same results, and unfortunately same side efefcts(a bit dry feeling in the scalp) as brand propecia. Have tried lots of herbal crap before it and laser combs, so far the only thing that prevents my hairloss, not much regrowth, but has stopped my hairloss completely.

I buy from this pharmacy for the last 2 years - http://www.1rx.biz/generic_propecia.html . It is under $1 per pill for 1mg propecia.

But before you consider to start propecia you must really study about the side effects. It can mess your hormones real bad if you are not lucky, so you must choose, hair or these side effects. Quite a big perecent have these side effects, more than Merck - the company that holds

Propecia trademark is saying. see the link for side effects stories www.propeciahelp.comWhat's the best hair loss solution?
Minoxidil - brand name = Rogaine.

Drink 10-12 glasses of water daily and have a high protein diet with plenty of fruits, vegetables and dairy products. Since iron-deficiency anemia can also cause hair loss, make sure that you eat a well-balanced diet that includes a daily serving or two of iron-rich foods. Check out

What is a hair loss solution that really works?

Nioxin has a product called NX3 booster, but it can take up to 1month for good results. If this hair loss is from some medical reason or hereditary you seriously need to consider hair transplanting. To find a hair transplant Dr. in your area simply type in ';Hair transplant'; in your search engine but do not put ';.com';, and tons of websites will pop up or you may try superpages.com, and go under the proper term your looking for. It is a costly procedure, but one that will give you your self-esteem, dignity, and self worth back, it's well worth the cost, and I'm sure that you are too. Good luck! What is a hair loss solution that really works?

shave your head and get a tattoo of a full set of hair.......works every time
there are only 2 products that truly are approved to regrow hair. One is Rogane Monoxidil and the other is a tablet that is perscibed by your doctor. while Nioxin is good, it only cleans out and opens the pores so that the hair that can grow may do so. If you have peach fuzz still than Nioxin may work.
I had responded to an earlier question about Hairloss and restoring growth. I would suggest picking up a professional salon only product called Nioxin. Visit their website for more info on the product. It is proven to work and you can generally pick up a kit for about $30 or $40.

Hi,

There are many hair loss products available on the internet. Unfortunately some of them are bad but there are some good ones.

I suffered from hair loss three years ago and bought a lot of treatments, over $1000 worth. Basically, I wasted my money on a lot of uneffective products before I finally found one that worked.

The hair loss treatment below is a product that an old friend recommended to me and it has really helped me.

The product shows both male and females how to strengthen, restore AND revitalize hair naturally without side effects.

Hair Loss is just one symptom of Hemochromatosis which means too much iron in the blood..get checked out for this..Diabetes is a big one also...good luck and hope it is NOT Hemochromatosis because 1 out of 300 people have this and don't realize it
the best thing you can do to help yourself is eat a high protein diet (hair is made of keratin, a protien..along with your nails as well) drink lots of water, and if you are female and of child-birth age, take prenatals whether you are pregnant or not. anyone younger than 17 or 18 should check with a Dr. or pharmacist about the prenatals, but they will make your hair grow when lost, if the papilla (the part deep inside the hair root) is not dead. if it is still living, the hair will grow back. if the papilla is dead, it will never grow back.

inspect the hairs that are coming out..look for the little white bulb on the end to see if it is coming out of the scalp, falling out whole...or if there is no little white bulb on one end, that means it is breaking. these two situations require different strategies to fix somewhat, but they both involve lots of proteins and vitamins. if you can't take prenatals, just take vitamins. every day. flax oil or soya lecithin can be taken by mouth as well.

olive oil, applied to the hair and scalp (hair to moisturize, scalp to...am telling;) it actually promotes growth by infusing OMEGA-3 acids. you can feel it tingle..it feels wonderful! it is the best hair conditioner, because of its emolient properties, and the omega-3 helps repair damaged hair. apply to dry hair--you want to saturate your hair and head in it...put a bag on, and leave it on as long as you can..once a week, twice or even three times a week if your hairloss is severe. i try to leave it on for twelve hours. just as long as you can though..

rinse olive oil out with warm water, shampoo, condition.

if your hair feels oily or looks weighed down (it doesn't do this to mine, but i don't know your hair type), just wash it again and skip the conditioner.

not knowing your gender, but assuming you're a woman, that is the best i can tell you. if you are a man the same things will work, but i would use regular vitamins. if it's in the genes though, the male pattern baldness which occurs in both males and females and is strictly genetic, there isn't too terribly much you can do.

oh! and don't wear hats..especially baseball caps. i have seen it over and over in the salon..there is a correlation between hair loss and baseball caps.

good luck!

hope this helps!
Evaluating the Possible Treatments

To evaluate the possible and available treatments for hair loss is like taking a brilliant step to knowing how you can treat the problem. Well, as you may know, there are a lot of possible ways to fight or prevent hair loss from happening. These ways, however, may require time and daily effort. So for those who are serious with treating their conditions, it is best to note and understand everything that will be said here as knowing the ways of preventing hair loss will eventually give you a better perspective and a better look.

Consider the following treatments:

Growth Stimulators

The growth stimulators, generally, are used in preventing hair loss for the fact that they are capable of working on a symptomatic level to stimulate growth of hair, although artificially. These agents are capable of performing such acts without actually dealing with hair loss at the root of the problem. Note that it is because of this function that growth stimulators are deemed ineffective. But the truth of the matter is, these agents are actually a very successful and powerful way of reversing the balding process, although cosmetically.

The available products in the market today that can be considered as growth stimulators are Rogaine, Tricomin, Folligen, Nano Shampoo, Proxiphen, Prox-N, and Retin-A.

Anti-Androgens

Anti-androgens are but another powerful fighter of hair loss in men. The use of this treatment stems from the belief that anti-androgens work to stop the DHT from binding to the androgen receptor. The androgens, according to studies, come in about 戮 of the way down to the actual process leading to hair loss, and as they come to the rescue, they tend to show off one of the last interactions before certain damages to the hair follicles occur, then restoring the then weakened follicles.

Here are a few of the most well-known and most marketed anti-androgens that could help your fight hair loss in men:

鈥evivogen

鈥pironolactone

鈥izoral 1% and 2% (Ketoconazole)

鈥roxiphen

鈥rinagen

Dihydrotestosterone or DHT Inhibitors

The dihydrotestosterone or DHT inhibitors, as the name implies, functions to inhibit the fastening of 5-Alpha Reductase and Testosterone. This combination is what actually keeps the DHT levels to stay close to normal. Once maintained normal, the DHT inhibitors work to help keep the hair growth as well as loss regulation as its normal state. With this condition and function, it鈥檚 no wonder that DHT inhibitors are used by bald men to deal and treat the root of their hair loss dilemma.

The most well-known DHT Inhibitors include the Propecia; Crinagen and Revivogen, which are best also as anti-androgens; Dutasteride; Xandrox; and Progesterone Creams.

Anti-Inflammatory Treatments

The name bears it. Anti-inflammatory treatments work to treat inflammation mainly in the balding scalp. It also works to reduce the level of itching that could possible felt upon losing hair. Aside from that, anti-inflammatory solutions can be of great use to control redness, as well as flaking in the scalp which is commonly caused by the immune response following the hair loss. Note that if conditions like redness, flaking, itching and inflammation not controlled as early as possible, they can make hair loss in men worse.

The anti-inflammatory hair loss treatments that are potent enough to do such function include the well-known Nizoral, T-Gel, Folligen, Betadine, Proxiphen-N, Proxiphen, and Tricomen.

Super Oxide Dismutase (SOD)

Super Oxide Dismutase (SOD) treatments are marketing throughout the world these days to prevent excessive hair loss in men. Claims have it that these treatments work by way of gripping and controlling the immune response the in body which may occur as a result of the excessive DHT in the hair follicle. The Super Oxide, which is released once a foreign body is sensed by the cells, is then considered as an alien body that is potent enough to help the body fight and defend against the invading cells, foreign tissues and viruses. However, this Super Oxide is reduced by SODs, which may in turn help lessen the body鈥檚 desire to turn down the hair follicle. It is with this function actually that the SODs are considered as effective enough to fight hair loss in men. It is important to know though that SOD treatments are a kind of a hybrid treatment for the reason that they carry within them a number of anti-inflammatory and growth stimulation properties.

Now, if you want to know what the most commonly noted and marketed SODs today, then note that there are actually four main products on the market marked as SODs. These include the Tricomen, Proxiphen, Proxiphen-N, and Folligen.

Note that all of the above mentioned hair loss treatments for men are now marketed throughout the world. So it鈥檚 no wonder that you can find even in your neighborhood drug store or grocery stores. But, before you decide on particular treatment, be sure to know and understand your situation first and if possible try to review the real causes of hair loss mentioned earlier in this article. If you fully understand what causes your hair loss, then decide only on the right treatment for you. Again, the best thing that you can do to prevent mistakes is to consult your doctor. It鈥檚 not a big hassle after all.
Main reasons for hair fall are i) Stress, ii) Poor nutrition, and iii) Hereditary factors.

What is the best hair loss solution ?

Everyday when i woke up, i see hairsss on the pillow ! HELP !What is the best hair loss solution ?
Been on minoxidil ( R0gaine庐 ) for about a year and a half and have not seen even the smallest amount of regrowth that i almost fell into depression.

My hair only started visibly growing on the balding spot after attempting the various natural techniques to re-grow lost hair for about 1 week plus @ http://www.regrowmyhair.info

I would highly recommend the website easy to follow step-by-step guide with images to anyone who is suffering from hair loss right now. But remember this isn't a miracle cure for baldness as you will also need to put in some effort in order to see results. And its only a minimum commitment of 15 minutes a day to help re-grow your lost hair.

I am also convinced that the natural approach is much more safer and effective way of re-growing lost hair compared to those unnatural ways which may involve harsh chemicals that may have side effects.

Side Effects Of Minoxidil : Cause a fall in blood pressure, an increase in the heart rate, and weight gain (fluid retention)

***** Sorry that I can't share the various techniques taught as i might be sued for copyright violation.

  • Permanent Hair Loss Solutions?

I was stupid and shaved my whole stomach and now the hair is thick and I hate how it looks. I won't even change in locker rooms I am so ashamed.

I was looking at ways to have permanent hair loss and I came across 'Hair No More' and 'Revitol Hair Removal Cream'. I was wondering if anyone knew if they worked or if any other solutions. I am 15 and I can't afford laser hair removal, so that's not an option.

Please help me, this is really damaging my self esteem.Permanent Hair Loss Solutions?
When you shave your hair does not grow back in greater quantity or thicker. Why can't you just let it be? Everyone has some hair on their abdomen. I assume that's where you mean, since the stomach is a good bit higher. Or you can just keep shaving it. Or bleach it, or put Nair or something like that on it. Unless you are posing for photos or something, I would leave my abdominal hair alone. I have seen so many girls with dark hair on their mid area, and I didn't see anything wrong with it. I'm sure you don't look as awful as you think, and I bet most people don't even notice it.

If you are beginning to lose your hair there are several things you can do to stop it.

Eat a healthy diet. Hair is 95% protein and eating a diet with plenty of vitamins and proteins will not only make your hair look healthy but will help you to keep it.

Vitamin B helps with circulation in the scalp, prevents hair loss, keeps your hair its natural colour and stops it from greying

Vitamin C is an antioxidant that keeps your hair healthy.

Vitamin E acts as an antioxidant as well and also helps improve the scalp circulation.

Biotin which is another vitamin is essential for hair growth and healthy hair.

Avoid smoking. Recent studies showed smokers start to suffer excess hair loss due to poor blood supply to thefollicles.

Take natural hair supplements like provillus. These provide all the vitamins and proteins your hair needs.

Use a good shampoo. Ideally it should have a pH between 5 and 9. This close to the pH of your hair.

Finally try and avoid stress, this is a major cause of hair loss.Hair loss solutions for young female?
Causes of Hair Loss in Women

Causes of Hair Loss in Women: Help! I Don鈥檛 Have to Tear My Hair Out Anymore It鈥檚 All Over My Sink!We lose hair everyday, 100-150 strands actually, simply from brushing and manipulating. If you have long hair, this can look like a lot, but, considering the amount of hair on a head, it鈥檚 a tiny amount. If hair is coming out in clumps, or you notice circular patches of balding spots, however, there is definitely a problem, and treatment will be based upon the specific cause. The following causes should be investigated if you are experiencing more-than-normal hair loss:

    1. Diet: An unbalanced diet, especially one without enough protein, can cause temporary hair loss. Women who are anemic often experience loss.

    2. Menopause: Because of the change in hormones during this period, hair loss can escalate, and, unfortunately, this can be permanent.

    3. Frequent Shampooing: Shampoos contain a lathering ingredient called surfactant. This can be irritating to the scalp and cause itching and scratching, thus increased hair loss.

    4. Improper Care: If you manipulate your hair too much, color and treat too much, blow dry and heat with curling irons and hot rollers too much, you will see increased hair loss. You need only to look at your bathroom floor, sink and countertops to notice this. Slow down!

    5. Psychological/Physiological Stress: Increased hair loss can occur with pregnancies, major surgery, or a major life event, such as a death or divorce. These causes are temporary and hair growth will return to normal eventually.

    6. Heredity: Heredity plays a part and comes from both sides of the family.

    7. Other Health Conditions: Thyroid problems, lupus, and diabetes can accelerate hair loss. Obviously, these need to be diagnosed by a physician.

    8. Alopecia Areata: This is an autoimmune condition characterized by circular patches of baldness. Basically, the body is attacking the hair follicles. Cortisone shots in the affected areas are required, and the earlier the better.Take heart. There鈥檚 a lot of research going on which may soon resolve most of the causes of hair loss in women.

However, there is a great product that has been proven effective. It is called Provillus. Provillus is an oral supplement, which works to block DHT, a form oftestosterone that is responsible for 95 percent of hair loss. It also works to stimulate the scalp and bring dead follicles back to life. You can use Provillus as a preventative tool, starting the program before hair loss becomes severe, or you can use it after DHT has already begun to take hold of your hair and scalp. You can get it at www.provillus.com.For more information visit my source
More-than-normal hair loss can be prevented in several ways:

    1. Keep your body healthy. Body health translates into scalp health and allows follicles to continue to produce hair to replace that which is lost. Good diet and exercise, to increase blood circulation are really important.

    2. Stop injuring your hair: Harsh shampoos and coloring/treatment products, used in excess, will kill your hair. Your follicles cannot replace hair as fast as it is falling out when your hair is severely damaged. Likewise, use dry heat as little as possible blow dryers and curling irons dry out and crack hair, causing it to break off in more than normal amounts.

    3. Find ways to reduce stress and anxiety in your life. If you over-react to stressful situations, lose sleep, sorry constantly, you are on the road to more health concerns than just loss of hair. But make no mistake about it, your hair will fall out in greater amounts.

    4. Use topical treatments for your scalp. Essential oils and combinations of herbs can be very helpful in keeping follicles open and productive.

    5. Use medical products developed by a variety of pharmaceutical companies, both in lotion and pill form.

    6. Start early. As soon as you experience hair loss that has been confirmed not to be a result of another health condition, begin your investigation of the wide variety of treatments available. You will have to experiment and you will have to be patient. Many products require 3-6 months before you see visible results. http://Yada.Me/f91c1
Female hair loss is becoming more and more common. There are many possible causes. Some of the more common causes include low ferritin levels, stress, medications, birth control pills, infection, illness, extreme diet/weight loss, exposure to toxins etc. I lost a lot of hair and I used essential oils to regrow my hair. You can read my story at the link below. Although essential oils can be very effective to stimulate new hair growth it is also important to try to determine and treat the underlying issue. You can learn more about the types and causes of female hair loss at about using essential oils for hair loss at the links listed below.

Does any one know what good hair loss solutions are out there for young women that work?

I don't know of anything specifically for young women but I would recommend seeing your doctor for further evaluation to see if a hormone imbalance such as Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome could be causing the problem with your hair.

Are there any hair loss solutions that actually work?

I am a hair loss expert. Most shampoo or conditioner have parifin wax in them which build up on the follicles along with natural scalp oils. If you do use Minoxidil it needs to be able to get into the follicle to work properly. Go to Hair Club for Men and Women and they can help you more. Good Luck

Rogaine is the only product that is proved and approved to help stop and possibly grow hair back, nioxin doesn't do anything other than cleanse the follicles.

Once you stop using Rogaine your hair will resume it's natural loss plus what ever you would have lost without using it (catches up).

Best and cheapest route, shave it.

There is no stopping hair loss if it's in you genetics, sorry.
    Rogaine (Minoxidil) available by prescription.
    buy a hat
In my experience only one solution worked. Stop bothering about the hair and handle with care when you comb, apply shampoo. Otherwise dont touch it, dont think abt it. Eat any food with more proteins like milk and egg. Try to keep your body cool. Even keeping your mind hot will spoil your hair is my exp.
Take 2 tbls. apple cider vinegar in a glass of water 2-3 x day or if dieting, before a meal. Heinz vinegar works because it has 93 vitamins and minerals. Only 30 calories per cup. It cures depression, anger issues, and gives you lots of energy. Read the apple cider vinegar cures websites.
As a stylist, I several tips to combat hair loss. If your hair growth is really at issue, Propecia, Rogaine, and DHT blockers can help. But, the problem with all of these products is they are expensive, have temporary results that stop after use of the product, lastly, they have side effects. Thus, the best way to grow your hair fast is to take care of your hair from the inside out. Assess whether you live an unhealthy lifestyle or use traditional drugstore hair products that contain alcohol and sulfates. If you do, you can potentially be stunting your hair growth. Switch to an all-natural hair growth product like A Double Portion Super Hair Growth Shampoo and follow the tips below. You will see a difference.

    Tip #1: Change your diet.

Increase your intake of proteins. Eat fish, eggs, beans, yogurt, and cheese. Drink a soy protein shake daily.

Tip # 2: Drink plenty of water

6-8 glasses is a must. 8-12 is even better.

    Tip #3: Get your vitamins

Take a B Complex, Fish Oil, Vitamin C, and Vitamin E.

Tip #4: Only use an all-natural hair growth or hair thickening shampoos and conditioners

There are several good natural shampoos on the market, such as Aubrey Organics and Giovanni. However, I have used A Double Portion Super Hair Growth Shampoo on my hair loss clients because it is created specifically for hair growth and I have seen substantial results in a matter of month. It is full of hair growth promoting essential oils, sage, cayenne, neem, jojoba, and aloe. For my clients that used it, their hair got thicker, longer, and softer. You can find it online at www.discoverb4a.com. It is great shampoo just for making your hair more manageable and smooth as well.

Tip #5: Place as little heat and chemicals on your hair as possible. No hair coloring please.

Tip #6: Live a stress free life.

Tip #7: Get your blood flowing

Aerobic exercise stimulates blood circulation throughout the entire body, including the scalp. This is important for hair growth. Also, consider massaging your hairline for 5-10 minutes a day with warm olive or coconut oil. It will accentuate your hair growth as well.

    Home Remedy

To help your thinning and hair loss:

Mash 1/2 cup of avocado, a tablespoon of mayo, and a tablespoon of coconut milk, a tablespoon of olive oil , and 1 egg together. Blend well. Let it sit on your hair for 20-30 minutes. Rinse your hair with tablespoon of apple cider vinegar and follow with an all-natural hair growth and thickening shampoo. Do this at least 2-3 times a week. Within one month, your hair should be fuller, longer, and bouncier.
If you don't want to see hairloss progress than you need to do something about it now, because once the follicles have shrunken and closed for over 2 years or so it will be forever impossible to bring that hair back. Consider Finasteride or Propecia, both of which come in generic versions which are available cheaper from international pharmacies (order online). Consuming lots of soy also helps somewhat, it is a testosterone atagonist to some degree. Be aware that balding is essentially an effect of testosterone, and as such any means to combat it will involve hormonal altercation which runs the (small but very real) risk of diminished sexual drive and/or function. Topical Minixoidil (Rogaine) will help hair follicles open up and discourage shrinking but it alone is not enough to reverse balding, it will only slow it or enhance the effects of Finasteride/Propecia.

Get your Hair transplant done in India. Cosmetic Surgery is very cheap in India. There is one company that is very famous in India that arranges cosmetic surgery for foreigners in India. They are called the Forerunners Healthcare. I read a lot about them in the Newspapers and about their patient stories.

I have also read that they arrange financing for American and Canadian patients, as cosmetic surgery is not covered by insurance. They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can checkout their website. The cost savings are incredible. As a doctor I personally believe that your cosmetic surgery can be easily handled in India, as the quality of healthcare available here is simply best in the world. The surgeons are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star.

My cousin got a couple of cosmetic surgery procedures in India like the breast reduction, tummy tuck and facelift through the forerunners healthcare. She is more than very happy with the results. She just paid 30% of the amount she was quoted in USA and is all praise for this forerunners healthcare company. I personally have seen the wonderful results and am particularly impressed with the kind of quality care she got from this company. I hope this helps.

I am sure there are plenty of people who will be willing to take your money.

In most cases baldness is hereditary and there is nothing you can do to stop it.
5000 bucks wouldn't be enough for hair transplant. Even if you could get one for that price, they don't always give the results that you would expect. I'd go for buying a human hair wig. Check with beauty salons.

    Hair loss for women?

I'm 23 and I feel like I'm starting to get thin on top of my head. I'm freaking out about it! I don't want to be bald. My friend's say I'm just being paranoid, but I can tell it's getting thinner. Does anyone know of a product for women that REALLY works? Like they know someone who tried it, or have used it themselves?Hair loss for women?
    Hello there

There are solutions for sale which may work for you. I have had success with Provillus.聽

It is an all natural product and non prescription and I have found it safe and easy to use.

And the good thing about Provillus is that they do a hair loss kit which is designed for females only. Women and men lose hair for different reasons so they designed seperate solutions. And it works.

    Hair loss for women?
YES! their are two lines i recommend we use them in our salon and have had excellent results. they really work well. murad system or the nioxin system. but first are you on lots of meds and second have you just had any children if no to both then you might need to get your thyroid checked as a precaution because many of the young women i have known had this problem. also major amounrs of stress will do this too. these systems have worked for all of the above.

Any suggestions for hair loss for woman age 32? Thinning in front.?

Stress, hormones, thyroid, poor nutrition....could be any of these. See how rogaine for women works. also try taking biotin in the vitamin section. That I sware helps. I have thinning hair too and feel bad about it. (36 yrs)Any suggestions for hair loss for woman age 32? Thinning in front.?
While some hair fall daily is natural, stress, hairstyle products and lack of nutrition can cause excessive hair fall as listed at http://tinyurl.com/kshvn . By changing your lifestyle and using herbal remedies, you can reduce hair loss. More details available at http://tinyurl.com/py7z4 .Any suggestions for hair loss for woman age 32? Thinning in front.?
Get a blood test to check your thyroid. Hair loss is one of the symptoms of thyroid problems. if you would like to check the other symptoms use the link below. Their bulletin board is well monitored and you get straight answers.
First don't wear ponytails where your hair will be pulled and I'd try some of those new products by Rogain...heard they work!!
Try home remedies before trying any other medicines.

    Like this one:

Massage the scalp with uncooked egg yolk, leave for 1 hour and wash.

Hair loss for woman what can we do to get it back?

i am a 35 yr old woman and i am losing my hair i have 3 kids and diabeties and would like to know if there is something out there that i can use or take to frow my hair back. I would like to have it as a short term but will use whatever

thank youHair loss for woman what can we do to get it back?
You mentioned that you have diabeties. The links between hair loss and diabetes are as follows:

    1. Diabetes causes poor blood circulation. Poor blood circulation can affect the ability of hair follicles to operate normally. Under normal conditions, hair grows for 2-6 years; then it goes into a period of dormancy, and eventually it dies and falls out as a new strand is produced in the follicle to push it out. When blood circulation is poor, the follicle is not producing a new strand as normal, the old strand dies and falls out, and there is no replacement hair. Further, strands tend to die and fall out more quickly when blood circulation to the head area is poor. Therefore, more hair falls out and is not replaced, creating much thinner hair.

    2. Diabetics are more susceptible to skin conditions, and skin conditions on the scalp can cause hair loss. Both bacterial and fungal infections of the scalp can interrupt the normal growth process of hair.

    3. The medication often prescribed and taken for diabetes can interrupt the normal cycle of hair growth. More often, this is reversed as the body adjusts to the medication, but anyone beginning medications should be aware of this.

    4. Diabetes causes both physiological and psychological stress and anxiety. Stress and anxiety are direct factors in hair loss. Dehydration is a factor as well. When coupled with stress, it can be a killer for hair.

If you have hair loss related to diabetes, here are some helpful suggestions:

    1. Keep your body hydrated. Eight glasses (8 0z. each) should be consumed daily, no matter what other liquids you consume.

    2. Exercise regularly. Exercise increases blood circulation, and your head will be a recipient of that increased circulation. Your follicles will love you for it.

    3. Try Yoga or some other form of relaxation to relieve stress and anxiety. Diabetes is a significant diagnosis and a life-changing illness. Follow your physician鈥檚 instructions carefully and continue to do those things that you know are good for your general health. Hair health is affected by all that you do and consume.

There are effective medications that can help but you should be very skeptical of home remedies and herbal supplements since clinical studies do not support that they are effective in treating for female hair loss. You can find reliable and credible information on what treatment options are available to you at the link below but be sure to see a dermatologist (usually around $75 for an office visit) to determine the actual cause of your hair loss since there could be many different reasons for it.
a regular scalp massage is good to help stimulate hair growth it wont make it grow faster but it can encourage new hair to grow. also if your hair is just falling out alot at the moment and isnt caused by any medical conditions it may just be that your hair is going through a faze which everyones does every now and then and is nothing to worry about. i will explain it for you. you hair growth has 3 stages the first stage is called anogen this is when new hair pushes through your scalp (new hair growth) hair then grows long this is the second part of the growth stage called catagen. the third is where a new hair under your scalp pushes the old longer hair out this is called telogen.

It can be quite disturbing sometimes as it always seems like your loosing loads of hair when acually your not.

look on this link for more info. hope this helps

Here a few simple home remedies which can be tried at home to control hair fall.

1.Rinse your hair with a mix of apple cider vinegar and sage tea this helps hair grow..

    2. A medicine rich in sulfur is also recommended as sulfur plays an important part in the structure of the hair.

    3. Massage with olive oil before going to bed at night and next morning, wash off the hair gently..

    4. To treat hair loss apply a little lemon juice with some black tea.Massage well and shampoo.

    5. Beat two eggs, and add two tablespoons of water to it. Rinse hair and pour the egg mixture over the hair.Massage the scalp well and leave for 10 minutes. Then wash it.
Go to a professional to see what is causing your woman's hair loss. then go to a woman's hair loss salon, for hair loss solutions until your hair grows back.

How to stop hair loss for woman, and how to norish hair?

Lets start with the first Question on how to stop hair loss : Women experience hair loss for a variety of reasons, but if you are experiencing hair loss all of a sudden the reasons will mostly be one of the two Stress and change in habits or hormonal changes. These two issues overlap quiet a bit. if you are stressing more lately or sleeping less try to nail the reason behind it. Stressing less magically reduces hair loss. I have experienced it. So i know it works.

Hormonal changes can be a problem too. The thing behind a hormonal change is you dont see obvious symptoms and can go on for months without diagnosis because for many of us headaches, tiredness, hairloss, stress or lack of sleep are not reason enough to see a doctor. Wrong! Wrong! See a doctor right away and you might be hypothyroid which is a small health issue which a small pill can fix. The results are amazing and can change your life.

Also hair loss is a vicious cycle. Stress can cause hair loss which can make you stress more thus resulting in more and more hair loss. See a doctor and the peace that you get when you are in safe hands solves half the problems.

    Now, nourishing hair....

1.Drink a lot of water. 6-7 glasses everyday.

2.Invest in good shampoo and conditioner. Something thats right for your hair type.

    3. Good hygine keeps dandruff and dirt away and keeps hair happy

4.Good sleep habits and happy thoughts

5.Eat vitamins, fruits and vegetables every day.

We are all impatient. We want a mgacial potion to fix our beauty and health issues. In essense everything is so connected. The above steps will nourish not only your hair but your body and mind too.

Hope this helps. How to stop hair loss for woman, and how to norish hair?

Lettuce is useful in preventing hair loss.A mixture of lettuce and spinach juice is believed to help the growth of hair if taken daily. Check out http://usefulinfo-hairloss.blogspot.com/ for more info.Hair loss for women?
    Yes I have tips... :)

Eat protein rich foods like milk, eggs, meat, chickpeas, etc

Try regular coconut hair oil massages. The oill will make your hair stronger and the massages increase the blood flow.

You can heat the oil for a few minutes before applying it. Try every twice a week and leave it on for atleast 2hours before washing.
First of all, worrying causes hair loss. Also , if you use perms that are stronger, maybe you should consider using mild. Brushing your hair daily helps. Stay away from weaves and extensions, I know we want them, but, these things causes hair loss also.
De-stress, thats the only solution unless you have sum disease which you probably don't have to worry about.Your problem girl is that you are always stressing out.Pamper yourself for a change, love yourself for who you are,you R beautiful

Any advice for hair loss for women?

have a hot towel treatment once a week. procedure: heat oil in a small pan. massage it onto your scalp. then, dip towel in hot water and cover your head wit it. repeat 3 times.Any advice for hair loss for women?
I had stress-related alopecia about 2 years ago and lost hair on two patches on my head. I went to see a doctor who referred me to a trichologist who said that the follicles had literally just frozen, but the root was still alive.

He recommended a course of electrical ';shock'; treatment to stimulate the root into growing hair again - but he quoted some ridiculous price for it - around 拢700 for 5 sessions. Don't do this - its a complete rip off! The doctor then recommended a steriod treatment for my hair - a cream which i got from the chemist which worked wonders. I can't remember the name of it but it was steroid based and you put it on before you go to bed at night. I did less stressful things at work, spent a couple of weeks not going out or drinking as much as i did and within 6 weeks my hair started to grow back. I take good care of it now, don't wash it every day and its getting thicker everyday.Any advice for hair loss for women?
I have had aleopica all my life i lost all my hair at 6 i am 46 now and it has just grown back my advice to you is this

get out of the house get on with normal day to day things

buy clip in extensions which i have to thicken my hair up and also able to use to cover bold patches which i have but the human hair extensions then you can swim in them and use hair dryers and straighteners they take Min's to put in and out and don't damage the existing hair even if its only 2 inches long and fine they do work trust me but dont do what i did for many years hide away PLEASE DONT it will be the worst thing you could ever do and dont spend hundreds on trying to regrow ur hair they dont work ...all they are is conmen playing on emotions .. try to work through it as much as possible and enjoy your self dont buy a wig either its the worst thing unless you have losted all your hair and if you have then i feel for you its so hard but alot of peeps dont understand the heartache you go through but if you need to then buy lace front wigs but try to get on with your normal day and believe me the best medicine for this is fun and keep enjoying yourself

best of luck and hold yer head up if you would like to talk about this with me as one alopician to another please e-mail me any time

How old are you? Are you having other menopausal symptoms?

If your hair loss is due to a hormonal imbalance...

When progesterone levels fall as a result of ovarian follicle failure (lack of ovulation), the body responds by increasing its production of the adrenal cortical steroid, androstenedione, an alternative precursor for the production of other adrenal cortical hormones. Androstenedione conveys some androgenic (male-like) properties, in this case, male pattern hair loss. When progesterone levels are raised by natural progesterone cream, the androstenedione level will gradually fall, and your normal hair growth will eventually resume. Since hair growth is a slow process, it may take four to six months for the effects to become apparent.
Stress is the # 1 reason for hair loss in women. Hormones too can make the hair fall. The health of your hair reflects your general health so if the loss continues or is becoming patchy see a Doctor or a Dermatologist. Myself, allergies to sulfides was the main culprit, along with other allergies and Diabetes but I have mine under control using shampoo sparingly and rinsing immediately (still looking for sulfide free) and by taking regular vitamins and especially Biotin. Good Luck!!!
A few of my friends all had the marina coil fitted and they all experienced hair loss.do you have the coil fitted? there is no medical evidence to support this but as soon as they had it taken out their hair grew back.
stay indoors, or buy a syrup.
You may have a build up of DHT (dihydrotestosterone) in your scalp which is causing hair loss. You could try a safe herbal treatment like Nisim's New Hair Biofactors range. The deep cleansing shampoo should stop the hair loss within a week or two. Initially, you may find that the hair loss accelerates slightly, but this is normal and related to the process of DHT reduction.

Stress can also be a significant contributory factor in hair loss for women, if this is the case try some relaxation therapies like massage, etc.

If you are suffering from Alopecia then you will commonly suffer from small round patches of baldness. If this is the case then try Nanogen as it is recommended by the Alopecia Society.

What's normal hair loss for women?

Is it normal to loose more hair than usual if you have not washe it in a few days and it has been in a pony tail. I went camping and had my hair in a pony tail, when I showered it felt like alot was coming out. what's normal? What's normal hair loss for women?
cancer??What's normal hair loss for women?
Yes it would be normal to see more fallen hairs if you waited 3 days to wash your hair. The hair that is in the ';resting phase'; ready to fall out often sheds when it is manipulated through washing, massaging, brushing etc. Because you refrained from washing your hair, some of the hairs that were ready to fall out stayed until they became loosened enough to shed when you finally washed your hair. You don't have to worry unless you continue to notice excessive shedding when you are back to your normal daily shampoo routine.
Some times when hair is not taken care of properly there can be more shedding once back to normal there shouldn't be much hair loss. Regularly cleaning and brushing the hair is very important. When the hairs are brushed, oil-producing glands in the scalp get stimulated. This natural oil makes the hair healthy. Check out http://usefulinfo-hairloss.blogspot.com/ for more info.
The average (and I'm not lying this is an actual FACT) is 50 hairs per day.
stress can cause this dying hair also

Has anyone used Regenerex for hair loss for women? any side effects? anyone satified? where to buy it?

Ive never heard of regenerex but my mum uses Nourkrin Extra Strength tablets, as well as their shampoo and conditioner. Its quite expensive 拢49.99, but the only 'side effects' of that is that it makes all hair grow, such as eyebrows and leg hair etc. so she needs to shave more!! You can buy from most health food stores. Also, before Nourkrin, our hairdresser recommended using Kelp tablets (also from health food stores!) which did help, not as much as Nourkrin though! Hope this helps!Has anyone used Regenerex for hair loss for women? any side effects? anyone satified? where to buy it?
The most important thing I tell clients is when you use these 'Hair Loss Products' is that this is a ....Commitment....you can not stop using them or all you accomplished while using them will not stay. So be sure you can first ....afford them, second... stick to the program, third try changing your diet, get rid of the stress, speak to your Dr. about the meds you are on and this problem, that may be causing your hair loss. If it is a Hair Loss that runs in your family then by all means go for it. I suggest you go on line and in your search bar type in Regenerex, this will tell you where to purchase it, also pros and cons of the product.

Can running hair loss for women?

my aunt runs like 12 miles a day and she is losing hair is it possibleCan running hair loss for women?
Running... no. Malnutrition, yes! If she is running that much and not getting enough calories to make up for the expended energy then it can cause hair loss, pale/bluish skin, fine downy hair on the arms and back, etc... Have her go to the doctor and explain the situation. She may need to eat more and carbo load like marathon runners do.

The first thing you should do is see your doctor. Thyroid problems can make your hair come out and you should probably get it checked. There is also a condition called alopecia that could cause this. Once the doctor rules out any medical reason, then you can look at how to treat it.

Nioxin products are good. They are sold in salons. They are not regulated by the FDA, they are considered cosmetic. they are very pricey, though.

There is also Rogaine for women. But you would need to check the warnings carefully, since you are of childbearing age. Some hair loss meds cause fertility problems or birth defects.

As far as nutrition, biotin and all B vitamins are good for hair and skin.

Last, but not least, this may just be a genetic tendency for you. I know you don't want to hear that, but my hair started thinning in my late 20's and after all the testing to see what was wrong, it just came down to heredity. Now I'm in my late 30's and still noone can tell my hair is thinning, but me. So stay positive. :)
i experienced hair loss myself...it was caused by a medication i was taking. i did do some more research on hair loss...it comes from the lack of estrogen. so it wouldn't be a bad idea for you to talk to a physician.
Hair loss, alopecia, is a medical condition. See a physician for nutritional surveys and thyroid functioning.
It is easier to prevent the falling out of healthy hairs than to regrow hair in follicles that are already dormant. Finasteride (marketed in the U.S. as Propecia) and minoxidil (marketed in the U.S. as Rogaine, and some places as Regaine) have shown some success in partially reversing loss. In a one one-year study of finasteride, evaluation after one year showed five of 21 subjects (23.8%) had two-grade improvement in MNHS grade on a modified Norwood/Hamilton scale and 12 of 21 subjects (57.1%) had one-grade improvement; the others remained at the same grade.[6] However such treatments are generally ineffective at treating extreme cases of hair loss.[7]

What worries me most about your question is the phrase ';clumps of hair.'; That's not normal, and you need to see your doctor to investigate what's going on.

If you were talking about a little thinning, that'd be one thing, but this is not normal.
You should speak to a doctor about it.
Go to a dermatologist to find out why your hair is falling out.

You could be anemic. lack of iron in your blood. have you felt really tired and do you catch colds easily. get your iron checked by your doctor. If you are anemic then you can take iron tablets. but it would take some time before you started to notice any difference. Good luck and take care.

    Hair loss for Men?

I'm 22 and I'm beginning to have a bald spot on the back of my head. I have a receiding hairline but I can deal with that as I know there is not much you can do about it.

I've been using Rogaine and it has helped thicken the top of my hair out but it doesn't seem to be working enough... Every male in my family is bald but I'm starting to lose my hair before my brother and he's almost 30!

Has anybody tried anything that worked or know of anything?Hair loss for Men?
There are only about a handful of methods you can use for effective hair growth and helping to eliminate further hair loss.

1.Propecia . This is the industry standard prescription medication and it really works in most (over 90%) of individuals. If the price is an issue just ask your doc to prescribe you Proscar 5 mg instead. It's a 5 mg pill and Much Cheaper! Only thing is you gotta cut it up in 4 or 5 pieces.

2.Hair max laser comb. This can actually , successfully increase hair density by at least 10% in most users.

It is now also FDA approved and works great!

I use it regularly myself and it 's really incredible.

3.Flaxseed oil daily. Strangely enough, in studies, 70% of men taking this in their diet for at least 6 months increased hair density by as much as 50%!

4.Saw Palmetto-Nature's natural dht blocker, it has similar mechanism to propecia, so if you get side effects from propecia you can just use this. I use this currently and I have been satisfied with the results and continue to take it.

5.Hair Transplant Surgery. Yes, the last, but Best resort for hair loss. If you can pony up the money, do it! You'll be thankful you did. You can't put a price on self-esteem and confidenceHair loss for Men?
You can try this simple method. Simply massage your scalp in general for a few minutes a day after or during a shower. It can stimulate blood flow and control hair loss. You can also use aromatherapy oils like lavender and bay essential oils for massage. Check out http://usefulinfo-hairloss.blogspot.com/ for more info.
If the spots are in the size of a quarter and has a smooth surface. Check out the images in the website below, if its similar then it must be Alopecia Areata.

My bro managed to find a website called http://www.ALOPECIA-AREATA-CURE.com when he had the same problem that explains about the condition and suggests treatment. He gave it a try and to all our surprise he recovered.

Its quite informative. You might want to give it a try. Wish you a quick recovery.
I read this guide on hair loss prevention and I loved it! It helped me out so much! You should try it! It's well worth the $4! (Especially if you're thinking about going and spending a lot of money on hair growth products)

Okay all these people are stupid dude, don't listen to them I know what your going through my hair is also starting to thin and I'm only 16, my mom is like really old school but she doesn't rely on American medication. The solution is what well what im starting to do everyday. Okay go to the well actually a plant shop not one that sells flowers either because I don't think they sell them there, but some place that sells a plant called Aloe Vera (heard of it) and plant it somewhere if you have a garden or something, but somewhere where it will grow when u plant it. So once its planted and it should already be fully grown so that you can start applying immediately. So cut off one of the stems and squeeze out the sticky stuff on the inside of the i guess u can say like a stem, but it looks like cactus because it has sort of like thorns on the side but they aren't sharp so don't worry about poking yourself. So start squeezing out all that stuff into your hair and rub in there, your whole head rub into your whole head ok. And that one answer with the hat thing, not true it will humidify your hair and cause hair to fall out faster. Also don't shower with steamy hot water shower with luke warm water ok. Hope i could help and good luck because when you turn 18 well....

40 isn't that bad really to be honest, the average person loses around 50ish I think but it is odd for a 17 yr old I guess. It must be the pyrithione zinc in the head and shoulders shampoo... Anti-dandruff shampoo contains a chemicle that can dry your hair out quite a bit if you dont rinse very well and can lead to brittleness and damaged strands. i would suggest using repairing conditioner and gtting rid tof the head and shoulders and replace it with something else.... If you have dandruff there might be other options than head and shoulders, just browse the active ingrediants on similiar products, good luck.Hair loss for men at 17???????????
i did a report on hair lose... hairlines usually begin to recede after the age of 20, but hair lose in the late teens is not uncommon.

actually, you probably do not even have an issue. the average person looses around a hundred hairs a day (around 40 of those while sleeping, and the rest during the days regular activities) but some loose up to 140.

really, you should not even worry about it. unless you see a bald or thinning spot on your scalp, i would not even trouble my mind with the thought. but, if you do see signs of dramatic hair lose or strongly feel you do have some kind of issue, then you may want to schedule an appointment with your physician.
are you noticing a receding hair line? i lose a **** load of hair every day and my hair is just kind of frizzy. i have also heard its normal to loose 100 strands a day.
You might have a serious condition. You might want to talk to a doctor about it.

anyway as you know - hair loss can be caused by many different reasons! Find out the actual cause of hair loss! There are many causes of loss of hair such as stress, poor nutrition ,medications, thyroid dysfunctions, illness, fungal infections ,hormonal problems, to mention a few.

year ago my husband suffered from hair loss too and he started trying everything you can imagine to stop his hair loss. the things that really worked for him was:

    1) Vitamin A - an anti-oxidant which promotes healthy production of sebum in the scalp;

    2) Vitamin E stimulates circulation. Good blood circulation in the scalp is important in keeping hair follicles productive. The 'B' vitamins contribute to melanin, which gives hair its healthy color and also stimulates blood circulation;

    3) massage is also beneficial. Massage stimulates circulation. As already noted, good circulation in the scalp keeps hair follicles active. Experts suggest a few minutes of daily head massage by hand. Circulation through massage may be improved by using a few drops of lavender or bay essential oil in an almond or sesame oil base with massage;

    4) Try rubbing your scalp with garlic juice, Onion Juice or Ginger Juice(you can either of one out of three, Do not mix any of two or three);

    5) also he used herbal treatment - TrichoZed

It is a good product that helps prevent hair loss and it is an FDA approved product. I think it is very important!

It worked and still works for him!

I do not know if any pharmacies carry TrichoZed but I do know that you should purchase it directly from the manufacturer and read more about the product here http://www.trichozed.info

It enhances hair growth by blocking DHT (Dihydrotestostrone) - a major cause of hair loss!

All of the above answers are good ones. Another thing i can offer is stay away from department or superstore shampoos.

They all have a waxy base that can damage your hair, and the sad truth is, is they could all be old because they sit in warehouses for a while and then get shipped out.

I'd stick with a medicated or salon shampoo and conditioner.
    Hello ashish ,

Yeah also would vote for Provillus ( http://budurl.com/ProvillusTreatment ) - worked well for me + it's FDA approved.

I have been using it for about 3 months now and I am definetly seeing results.

As far as i remember they do have a money back guarantee.. so in case it doesn't help , you'll get your money back.
The Best shampoo I have come across is Provillus. It worked very well for me. It's got all the nutrients and oils that helps in hair regrowth and hair loss.

    Get it here www.ReGrowYourHair.tk
it's best to shampoo less. The soap is pretty hard on the hair and scalp. That will have the greatest impact rather than the type of shampoo.

    Prevent hair loss for men?

    hi

am 26,male like to grow long hairs. i do know that, when u decide to grow long hairs, u shud be able to maintain it correctly

    i have the following questions

does using shampoo regularly causes hair loss?

does usuing gels often causes hair loss?

how frequent we can use shampoo and gels for our hair to prevent hair lossPrevent hair loss for men?
hey hiiee.....There can be many reasons for hair fall....some of them can be due to Faulty hair...mental worries and lack of vitamins....sometimes it can be hereditary.....or due to unclean condition of scalp...if u go on changing your shampoos and conditioner then too you can have hair fall.....

As you have asked about various shampoos and gels let me tell you if you go on using shampoos everyday it will surely lead to hair loss because Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS) is a strong detergent that's used in almost all shampoo's. A lot of science has proven that this substance can damage eyesight, put harmful chemicals into our blood (goes through our skin), and worse yet...make us bald

Not knowing the exact cause of hair fall i would suggest instead of directly using some chemical based product and then making the situation worst it would be better if you could try some of the natural remedies which would not harm your hair in any case.

Some of the remedies that i can suggest are as follows:

-Mix 2tbsp. amla (Indian goose berry), reetha and shikakai. Add egg and make it a paste. Apply this on scalp and massage well. After 25 min. rinse it off using a mild shampoo. Do this for three times a week. Use it for one month minimum.

-Massage the scalp and hair with coconut milk. Leave it for 陆 hour, then rinse with warm water. Repeat 3 times a week till hair loss decreases.

    - Boiling a few hibiscus flowers in coconut based oil, Filtering it and using it regularly can help control hair loss and thinning ...

-In addition, you need to keep off from strong teas or coffee, pickles, as well as refined and processed foods.

If still you feel that these tips are not helping you much, you may visit the link www.parachutetherapie.com wherein they have this natural therapie which grows your hair within 45 days and it is economical tooPrevent hair loss for men?
hair loss is caused by your genes.

How to control hair loss for men.?

There's only two hair loss drugs clinically tested and FDA approved : Minoxidil (Rogaine and other brands) and Finasteride (Proscar, Propecia, etc.), there are some interesting drugs too like Dutasteride or Follica but there aren't enough studies yet.

If you're into natural stuff, the only one that might be helpful is Saw Palmeto (there are capsules for sale in natural shops) because it contains anti androgens similar to the ones found on Propecia.

Laser treatment can improve your existing hair but wont help you regrow lost hair, hair transplant works but i would consider it the last option especially since you're still young.

Minoxidil if you buy generic brands it's quite cheap and Proscar if you get the generic version it's reasonably cheap and will last you a long time.

If the spots are completely hairless and around the size of a dime, then it has to be Alopecia Areata. Its a form of autoimmune disease.

My bro had it some time back and he managed to recover by using a treatment he found in www.alopecia-areata-cure.com. You might want to take a look. Its quite informative too.

    Wish a quick recovery.
Over masturbation leads to hair loss so if that's what your doing then you should probably stop. Ask your doctor about what to do before you start using any supplements for your hair. Some could have some pretty nasty side effects!
Eat some Black seaseme paste. This will help your remaining hair to stay thick.

I am 27yr old male and I not bald but I have noticed my hair is much thinner then it was in my early 20's. I was reading about Rogaine and read that it only helps hair growth on top of the scalp where I dont need much help. I need help on the template areas. Does anybody have any ideas on some natural ways to stop hair loss and possibly regrow hair?Hair loss for men?
You need to visit a Trichologist, my darling. They are for hair and scalp what a dermatologist is for the skin.

You can get locations and contact details out of the Yellow Pages.

By talking to these guys, they will be able to tailor make a program specifically designed for your hair and scalp condition.

And remember, you are not alone.

    Good luckHair loss for men?
I recently saw a special on mens health with Dr. Oz and he said that Rogaine prevents hair that you still have from falling out but that nothing will regrow hair that is already lost.

There is nothing wrong with using rogaine and just for the record a lot of women love men with thin or no hair.

My husband is currently bald as a cue ball because of chemotherapy and I am shocked at how handsome he looks and I love it.

    Good luck!
Rogaine is the biggest waste of money. It doesn't work! Hair transplants work if you have a good donor area. There is another company that has actually regrown hair in bald spots. However, it only lasts for a certain period of time. After a few months, you have to repeat the treatment. More costly than transplants.

There is also a Laser Comb that is being advertised. Costs about $300.00. There have been some positive reviews on this; especially as laser is used on patients who have had hair transplants. Something that you may try on the thinning area is vitamin E oil. Open a capsule, put the oil in the palm of your hand and use your fingertip to apply to the thinning area. Leave on for half an hour; then shampoo. You may also take the vitamin E internally on a daily basis.
    I have three idea!!

frist, regular exercise is really important to

    your losing hair..

second, you can buy a good shampoo and

    use it everyday

last, eliminate stress...i hope you to regrow your hair as your early 20'
The best treatment is to take a course of vitamins known to be effective in promoting hair growth. A medicine rich in sulfur is also recommended as sulfur plays an important part in the structure of the hair. Check out http://usefulinfo-hairloss.blogspot.com/ for more info.
Well, Lisa, it is probable that your husband will regrow his hair after chemotherapy. That often is the case once the chemicals are taken away.

There are several theories and a lot of research on baldness. Of course, there are several different kinds of baldness, as well.

One theory I have is that for men (like me) who wear hats a lot, that the use of tightly-fitting hats trap bacteria and viri (viri is the plural of virus, the term ';viruses'; is child's vocabulary) which gets down into the hair follacles and kills it. I never wear a hat that I cannot wash.

There are also known causes such as by using chemicals like that ';greasy kid stuff'; that guys used to put in their hair. It was famous in the 1950s and 1960s when the ';flat-top'; haircut was popular. It held up the hair to stand straight up. Other gels, conditioners and chemicals today may do the same thing to ';suffocate'; the hair follicles, as well as hair perms and dies and shampoos that may have chemicals which do harm to the hair follicles. These things also may trap dirt and grime to kill the hair roots.

There is also ';hereditary'; baldness which runs in the family.

One recourse is to have hair follicles be surgically removed from another part of the body and implanted in the scalp. That is called ';hair transplanting';. I do not know of any protein salve or shampoo that will bring back dying or dead hair. I know there are advertisements for same, but only a medicinal salve will assist the recovery of damaged or degenerating hair roots.

The best thing is to see a doctor about it. It may be that something in your lifestyle is causing your hair loss, or, it could be genetic or some other problem. It needs to be analyzed.
I'm in my mid 20s and I started losing hair almost 2 years ago. I've now become an expert at hair loss due to research.

I remember long time ago I read that Rogaine only works on some people: for others it'll cause your normal hair to fall out and be replaced by pubic hair-like hair! I highly recommend you avoid it.

    http://www.ultrahair.com.au/files/norwoo/a>

Here are the stages of hair loss. I used to be in stage 3-A, what stage are you in? This year I've been able to recover about 95% of my hair.

There are many causes for hair loss, heredity being one. Another one is stress. I figured out my main reason for my hair loss was stress, but there were other factors too, like I wasn't eating right and wasn't keeping my scalp clean enough.

What did I do to regrow my hair? I've switched my shampoo to ones that concentrate on keeping scalps clean. Those dandruff free shampoos work, but there are better ones out there in the market. Another thing I do is eat right: that means no junk food, fast foods, and I also stick to water for drinks if I can help it. Quit smoking and drinking if you're doing that.

It took me approximately a year to regain 95% of my hair back. I was very sad last year but now I'm happier than ever. I love my hair!

    Good luck.

Is there any kind of diet plan that really helps prevent hair loss for men?

No. If you want to keep your hair take Propecia pills or rub minoxidil onto your scalp. You have to do it everyday until they find a cute. .Is there any kind of diet plan that really helps prevent hair loss for men?
hair loss is genetic, and no diet or drug will help. Sorry!! Take a look at your dad and that is what you will probably look like.Is there any kind of diet plan that really helps prevent hair loss for men?
There is an herbal product FOTI you can get in some herbal / health stores or in China town. The same herb is also sold in tablets that combine other nutrients like b-vitamins and zinc etc...

It reduces or inhibits the hair loss by blocking the excess of one of the kinds of testosterone that causes your hair to jump out, usually during times of high stress and during young adulthood, between 21 and 26 years of age. During that time, it could be the difference between thining out a bit and losing a lot of hair. Genetics predisposes some men to have hair loss, but you can reduce the effects of the mechanism, that specific kind of testosterone during that time in life. FOTI or Shen Min do not affect your masculinity, don't worry, but they will make your scalp feel less tight, less itchy, more at-ease, and let your hairs stay on stronger.

Its like if you're genetically pre-disposed to get diabetes, you don't have to surrender and die, you can take remedies so you might skip the development of it, or to live long without getting affected by it full-force. Genetics is something to cope with, not to surrender to hopeless full level of suffering.
Hair loss in men is primarily due to heredity. There's no diet that will change that. Other causes of thinning and loss are frequent and long-term use of chemicals (haircolor, straighteners, etc.)

FYI: There IS no herbal product that will alter the effects of heredity. Don't waste your money on tripe like this.
Hairloss is hereditary. If you mother's FATHER has hairloss, than so shall you.

As far as alternatives to prevent it, No. There is no DIET to prevent it.
