i dont apply gel,wash my hair just twice and also oil them twice a day
my dad is bald but my granddad still has all hair intact!!!

40 isn't that bad really to be honest, the average person loses around 50ish I think but it is odd for a 17 yr old I guess. It must be the pyrithione zinc in the head and shoulders shampoo... Anti-dandruff shampoo contains a chemicle that can dry your hair out quite a bit if you dont rinse very well and can lead to brittleness and damaged strands. i would suggest using repairing conditioner and gtting rid tof the head and shoulders and replace it with something else.... If you have dandruff there might be other options than head and shoulders, just browse the active ingrediants on similiar products, good luck.Hair loss for men at 17???????????
i did a report on hair lose... hairlines usually begin to recede after the age of 20, but hair lose in the late teens is not uncommon.
actually, you probably do not even have an issue. the average person looses around a hundred hairs a day (around 40 of those while sleeping, and the rest during the days regular activities) but some loose up to 140.
really, you should not even worry about it. unless you see a bald or thinning spot on your scalp, i would not even trouble my mind with the thought. but, if you do see signs of dramatic hair lose or strongly feel you do have some kind of issue, then you may want to schedule an appointment with your physician.
are you noticing a receding hair line? i lose a **** load of hair every day and my hair is just kind of frizzy. i have also heard its normal to loose 100 strands a day.
You might have a serious condition. You might want to talk to a doctor about it.
