Hair loss shampoos - trichotillomania?

I suffer from trichotillomania ( hair pulling) i have stopped for the past 4 weeks. I would like a shampoo/product that will encourage my hair growth and make it look thicker as i feel that a more noticable affect will allow me to fight the urge for hair pullin. There is nothing you can put on the outside of your hair that is going to make your hair grow faster. There are some coating products that will make your hair slightly heavier and feel thicker, but they also may have unpleasant side-effects.





Now that you have stopped the pulling, you just need to wait and let the hair grow back. It most often will. There may be a few roots that have been very damaged and the hair may be slightly deformed, or misshapened. Rarely, some roots will have been destroyed and will never grow back.
