Has anyone noticed significant hair loss with the use of Ambien? I've been using it for almost a year now and have had some pretty significant hair loss. They do not list this as a side effect of the drug, but I'm wondering if it is still a possibility.Is there a link between Ambien and hair loss?
I've used it but I've noticed no difference in my hair. Many people on sleep aids like Ambien or Lunesta or any of the others are on them partially because of depression (and the dr doesn't want to start the patient on antidepressants yet) which can cause significant hair loss. Could that be a cause? Lack of sleep causes stress which is a major cause of hair loss as well.
