Howcome mostly men go bald? What does hair loss have to do with what sex you are?

I'm not saying that women dont go bald but I'm just talking about the majority.Howcome mostly men go bald? What does hair loss have to do with what sex you are?
This is a X linked gene that gets expressed in men since they only have a Y so all genes on the leg that doesn't match up are expressed. Even so, the gene itself is expressed in men because of the presence of testosterone. Hence the gene is active because it is X linked and because of the presence of testosterone.

Male pattern baldness is best predicted by looking at ones maternal grandfather.Howcome mostly men go bald? What does hair loss have to do with what sex you are?
I believe it has to do with testosterone.
Baldness is cause by an over abundance of testosterone which is why it affects men more than women.

this has the best explanation of the factors of hair loss.

There are 4 major factors.
it has to to with genitics

how did u get the whole picture of ur avatar to show???

for me it only shows the head.
Bottom line...everyone is different and the world looks for perfection...there is no perfection just use human beings with our quirky differences :)
';DHT'; causes hair loss and it is genetics and blood flow becomes to weak to produce strong healthy hiar, so it gets week and falls out. Most women don't have that hormone, but some do. that is why they say ';Women should mostly have long hair and men should mostly have short hair';.
Gentics work that way.. That is the way humans have evoled. Its a sex realted trait. If you want to know your bald, look at your mother's father. Sex realted traits usually go from mother to son, and son to father. Most women do not go bald, so you look at the father of the mother.
There is a male baldness gene.
yeah, all he hair goes other places. like it comes out ears and noses from what I've noticed on old people
the genes in men are different than females so due to that, men go bald more than women
Called male pattern baldness, I don't know. Some hormone called DHT attacks the hair root and makes it fall out. I don't know why it doesn't affect women as much as it does men, but I have seen women with bald spots, but not like a man does.
If you had to live with a woman, youd go bald too... Im just kidding, I dont know the answer
It has to do with the hormones in male individuals (androgen's) after a certain age this hormones seem to speed up the process of decay in some cells and the fact that man is more stressed than the average women must help too, also the vanity factor is important in this topic, a lot of women go bald and hide this even from their spouses, and friends so is harder to know for sure how many women's go bald
That's because we are the ones hitting the backboard with our heads.
Male pattern baldness is tied to the production of testosterone, the male hormone.
its genetics
i don't know that is weird but I think it's the same just as many women go bald as men my mom is bald like a man she had to go buy this special wig that costs $500.00 dollars i just hope it doesn't happen to me women can cover it up more easily than a man can we have a lot me hair products and options
They don't ';GO BALD';......They get bald by pulling all thier hair out from having to deal with women!
its the stress that the women put us through.
Women in general when they discover the first signs of balding and hair loss get treatment. Men are less likely to admit or deal with a problem like hair loss then women are so there for if they do not go for help then the problem will just get worse. Studies have shown that women are more likely to get professional help when they have a problem than men are. If problems like hair loss are not treated right away than in a great amount of cases it will become bad enough that the problem will become untreatable. If only they would care for themselves and seek out help when they need it then they would not have some of the problems that they have like balding!
It's called the male pattern hair loss or male pattern baldness, also known as androgenetic alopecia, the most common cause of baldness in men. Its a genetic condition and like what the condition is called, it happens to men more often than women, although women can have androgenetic alopecia as well.
It's mostly genetics. Overabundance of testosterone makes men more likely to lose their hair. Besides, think about it -- If a man goes bald, then it's not the end of the world. If, on the other hand, a WOMAN goes bald, then....YIKESS!
A lot of it is genetics. Also, your hair folicles can get plugged up -- special shampoos and exfoliating can help.
just have evolved that way

men with wealth and power prospered more, not depening on their looks so much

but women with more attractive features prospered more
Hair loss is a genetic gene passed down from mothers to children

if anyone on your mothers side of the family is bald more than lightly the gene is passed on to you

Hope that answers your question!!!
i dont know??
it depends on what sex you are. most men the hair starts growing on their backs instead of their heads.
Due to a hormone in males called DHT ( a more potent form of testosterone)
I don't know
men are just used to being ugly.

women like their hair too much to let it fall out.

duh.
