Many, many prescription and even non prescription medications cause some annoying side effects ,,, dehydration is a very common one to experience.
(Finasteride)Propecia a hair loss medication targets the skin and hair follicles. Sometimes affecting the bodies ability to sweat and regulate body temperature. Only way to combat this is lots of water ... maybe keep a bottle of water beside your bed at night.
Just rest assured this is a to be expected side effect and nothing to worry about. Annd one you can live with if the drug actually works, right? lol
***ACTUALLY IT DOES TARGET THE FOLLICLES AS WELL ... AS WELL AS INCREASING THE PRODUCTION OF TESTOSTERONE ,,, THOUGH I DID NOT TOUCH ON THIS BECAUSE IT IS IN NO RELATION TO THE CAUSE OF THE ASKERS DEHYDRATION ... WHICH I DO BELIEVE TO BE A COMMON REACTION OF SUCH MEDS.Does anyone know if Propecia the hair loss pill cause dehydration?
Propecia does not target the skin. Its target is a derivative of testosterone. It prevents the formation of this hormone and thus affects hair growth. This drug will not cause dehydration, you may want to drink more water before going to bed, or get a humidifier for your bedroom.
