Does working out and lifting weights accelerate hair loss?

Since working out produces more testosterone and testosterone is the main cause of hair loss?Does working out and lifting weights accelerate hair loss?
No.


The bodybuilders that are balding are probably that way due to side effects from steroids, from wearing a hat too much, or from being pre-disposed to hair loss.





I have been lifting weights for the past ~16 years; no hair loss here.Does working out and lifting weights accelerate hair loss?
Balding is mostly genetic.
I have a book by the Gold麓s gym founder in which there are many photos of body builders but I don麓t think I have seen any baldies even amongst the monsters. If you are worried about hair loss then I suggest you do a stiff fingered scalp massage every time you shampoo your hair.
