Does anyone know of ways to help reduce post natal hair loss?
Keep taking prenatal vitamins. They work for me and are great for hair and nail growth. My Dr advised me to take them throughout my ';childbearing years';, even before I got pregnant with #1. I now have 4 and still take them. Please help. Does anyone know of ways to help reduce post natal hair loss?
Hair loss slows down during pregnancy, so it's normal to lose that hair once the pregnancy is over. It's due to hormonal changes.
lol...i gave birth 3 month ago and ive found the same problem.

in the bath its full of hairs, when i brush it, the brush is full

i dont know the answer but would love to know so i hope u get some good answers!!
Tahine.
You have my sympathy on this one. I had the same problem. |I know people say its normal, and that its just the extra hair that you gained in pregnancy that you are losing. But i certainly didnt have what looked to be a receding hair line prior to pregancy!! I did in the months after like yourself. I took selenium supplement and that seemed to help. And now eighteen months on my hair is back as it was. It had the added bonus of improving my nails too!! Good luck, and take heart, its only a temporary thing.
Its normal and will slow down - due to hormonal changes.

You'll be fine!

I understand your concern. However, we can reduce it by applying aloe vera and wrap it for an hour or so twice a week! Not only it reduce the hair loss but making your hair shines. I did that and it worked fine. Good luck!
Darling, use chilled water to wash and condition your hair. The hotter the water, the higher the amount of hair loss. use low heat settings on hair dryers and stylers. Use loose hair baubles rather than tight styles. The more stress you put on your hair, the more it will fall out. Also, vitamin pills. Carrotts, and jelly. Gelatin and keratin strengthens hair and nails.
It is normal . Massage aloe Vera gel over the scalp, leave it for about one hour. After this rinse the hair with warm water. It gives excellent results for hair loss if one uses this massage at least 3-4 times a week. Check out
