My dog comming into season and hair loss?

Hi. My year old ***** is due to come into her second season in about a month now. 2 weeks ago she has started to lose hair under her rib cage on her neck etc. Is this because she is due to come into season in about a month? Has anyone ever heared of this happening? If so, is there any cures at all out there, supplements etc etc..My dog comming into season and hair loss?
More then likely she is loosing her winter coat but take her to the vet to be on the safe side and get her checked. Good luckMy dog comming into season and hair loss?
No dogs dont loose hair due to a season or heat cycle she has an underlying problem that should be seen by a vet. Exp. since you have waited 2 weeks already.
She may have some sort of dermatitis. I would go to the vet to make sure. Good luck
Despite what others have said, yes this is normal. Dogs shed their coats twice a year, and come in heat twice a year. If they occur together that is usually coincidental, but not abnormal.

Just groom her well daily and you can add OMega 3/ 6 (Fish body Oil) capsules to her diet . It will not stop her shedding but will help give her now coat good condition.

If you are going to get her spayed this will cut down on her shedding considerably.

If you are at all worried about her shedding or she is showing any symptoms of being unwell, has a skin rash, etc. then get her vet checked, but I am sure this is just a normal shed from your description.
Carriers of demodetic mange (hereditary, not contagious) do this. Usually it begins around the face tho'. She should be vet checked to be sure.
She's stressed because her owner is not smart enough to get her fixed! She is worried that she will be another dog that breeds and has its children gassed because of greedy owners.
Not necessarily normal! Although it could be just coincidental timing - dogs do shed when the weather's turning hot (Spring into Summer) and again to a lesser extent when Winter is coming on. However, I think you'd be as well to get your vet to check this out just in case she has a parasite problem. Could be hormonal, but I somehow doubt it.
