I've been on Wellbutrin XL for about four years, and I also noticed hair loss about two years ago. I googled ';Wellbutrin and Hair Loss'; and found an overwhelming number a people who have also complained about it. On one thread, I read of someone who started taking GNC's Ultra Nourish Hair, and her hair stopped falling out. I took her advice, and started taking it about four months ago. I now have all new hair growth around my temples and I hardly ever find hair in the shower drain (I mean I had clumps at one time!). I also take 5,000 mg of Biotin and Omega oils. This combo seems to be the ticket because my hair now looks better, thicker, and shinier than it ever did before.
About a year ago, I weaned off Wellbutrin because of the hair loss. Within four months, I was so depressed I went running back. So I'm very happy that I can still take Wellbutrin AND keep my thick hair!!!Did anyone experience hair loss while taking Wellbutrin? If so did the hair grow back after taking it?
I have been on Wellbutrin for about 6 months now and I have noticed my hair has been falling out quiet a bit. I did not link it to the Wellbutrin as it only started about 3 months ago. I even asked my doctor about this but he has said he had not heard any reports about hair loss.

I have not experienced hair loss due to Wellbuterin (I am on Wellbuterin) - but in my case, it was stress and illness that caused the hair loss.
