It's probably a lack of certain nutrients in your body that's causing the problem - most cases of hair loss are because of this.
There are many different treatments that are meant to ';cure'; your condition by providing your body with the nutrients it needs.
';Provillus'; is one of the market leaders. You can see a report about it here: http://www.regrowreport.com/provillus-re/a>

Hair loss for men?
My boyfriend is in his 20's and starting to loss his hair. I read about all kinds of different things he can take but it also says in alot of these have the side effect of not being able to have a child. I am trying to find something that works great but we also want to have a child in the future. Thanks so much for your help.Hair loss for men?
If that is the issue, then he can be bald. He can't help genetics, and if you want to have children without problems, just let it fall out. If you love him, and his hair loss is not a problem for you then don't worry. Male hair loss can be a huge issue for men, and cut the male ego down. But that's on him rather then you. I would tell him that its ok, and no matter what hair loss is not going to affect how you view him, and you would rather have a healthy balding guy, then a guy who has hair, but has problems being able to conceive.Hair loss for men?
Honey-----just love him---hair loss and all. Yes, Rogain and other treatments have side effects and they really don't do much. If he's losing his hair, it's hereditary and he should just cut is hair really short and be a man about it. Men obsess about it WAY too much. Women really don't care!
What's hideous...are the men who do the comb-over. You know---where they part their hair in the back of their head and comb it over their bald spot? HORRIBLE!
Apply henna before bath,
Drink lot of water and live stress free.

Hair loss shampoos - trichotillomania?
I suffer from trichotillomania ( hair pulling) i have stopped for the past 4 weeks. I would like a shampoo/product that will encourage my hair growth and make it look thicker as i feel that a more noticable affect will allow me to fight the urge for hair pullin. There is a treatment but that is 拢1500!!!Hair loss shampoos - trichotillomania?
There is nothing you can put on the outside of your hair that is going to make your hair grow faster. There are some coating products that will make your hair slightly heavier and feel thicker, but they also may have unpleasant side-effects.
Now that you have stopped the pulling, you just need to wait and let the hair grow back. It most often will. There may be a few roots that have been very damaged and the hair may be slightly deformed, or misshapened. Rarely, some roots will have been destroyed and will never grow back.
The best thing is just to leave it alone, and it will grow back. Have patience.Hair loss shampoos - trichotillomania?

Do hair growth shampoos not hair loss shampoos damage my hair in the future?
do hair growth shampoos not hair loss shampoos damage my hair in the future or do they have lik effects in the futire 10 point best and complete answerDo hair growth shampoos not hair loss shampoos damage my hair in the future?
It really isn't the product per se that will damage the hair but what is in it...such as duplicating products with silicone, which will shine the hair, make it very soft and healthy looking but over use will build layers onto your hair causing it to become weak and break, also products with alcohol as the primary ingredient is very drying. But there are NO shampoos that grow the hair-there are medicated shampoos that prevent hair loss but many of those (Rogaine) have to be used on a continued basis or you will get the same result. Growth of hair is created by stimulating the scalp and keeping your hair and scalp clean and keeping damaged hair (ends) cut.Do hair growth shampoos not hair loss shampoos damage my hair in the future?
lol ..
There are no such shampoos for hair growth. Depending upon the condition of your hair, you can use mild shampoos, normal shampoos or extra conditioning shampoos.
Hair loss shampoos help hair grow back. Hair growth shampoos don't work. There is no shampoo out there currently that can make your hair grow longer.
I think these shampoos have effected your ability to spell.
dont know.i want my hair to grow faster.

Where to get hair loss shampoos?
where can i get a hair loss shampoo at like a drug tore? how much does it cost?Where to get hair loss shampoos?
Hi there,
you can get them in stores or pharmacies. I personallyI use a product (here in the UK) called ';Alpecin'; that works very well for me (maybe search for it in Google). I pay 拢7 (about $10) and I also use the after shampoo every day. I reckon it last about 3 months or more (I have short hair and going bald... :(
it was recommended by my friend (also my hairdresser) and I buy it from her but I believe you might find it in pharmacies.
Having said that, I do not promote that product in any way as I only speak for personal experience so please before you part with your money, check it out and see if it suits what you are looking for or ask the doctor!
Hope it helps! :)Where to get hair loss shampoos?
You can buy hair loss shampoos at most hair salons but they tend to be a bit useless to be honest. I just found this product called Provillus and it's the only FDA APPROVED product on the market. Ive posted a link for you to check it out.
Aloha
I would do some of your own research to try and find a product that you think will work. I don't think that the local guy down at the drug store will be able to tell you too much. Search through some of the posts here on Yahoo Answers.
you can find your answer in
http://teensandhealth.blogspot.com/2009//a>
You could possible to to your local drug store and ask for it. I believe that prices will differ from place to place.

Can I Use Hair Loss Shampoo On Just Thin Hair?
I have bought several sachets of hair loss shampoo called ';Propoline';
I have hair thinning on just the right side of my head. It gets real knotty and when you towel dry it, it is so thin it doesn't move from that position, like water is a natural gel when i get out of shower.
If i wanted to use this would I just use the shampoo on the one side of my head where there is thinning hair or do I use it all over?
Also would this actually help for just solely making thinner hair thicker and more lively?
I need to know ASAP.
Thanks.Can I Use Hair Loss Shampoo On Just Thin Hair?
Sorry! but no shampoo or anything you simply apply to hair is going to significantly stop thinning. There is a`wonderful treatment that is NATURAL, safe, and truly stops loss almost straight away and has helped others on ANSWERS.(can send you info.) It also forces new growth. Massage thoroughly with olive or any natural oil - then brush vigorously using a palm held brush with short natural boar bristles - soft bristled for fine straight hair and stiff bristled for thicker non straight hair- so you really feel it stimulating scalp - 90 /100 strokes at beginning building up to more - each day, focusing on where loss is. Will heal scalp and unplug blocked hair ducts that sometimes cause loss - they are the painful small itching spots. A little shedding and breakage may occur at first but quickly stops as brushing makes hair stronger and better anchored. It will grow fast, thicker and It will force the new growth. Initially new hairs will be weak looking and sparse. Don't be concerned if brushing uproots them as they will re-appear even stronger. My hair has completely regrown on crown. Where receded at front regrowth was slower and sparse at first then each month it became denser. It demands perseverance week in, week out to get the same results.
Thinning and loss can be caused by many shampoos - particularly anti dandruff ones - and hair products that contain countless hair, scalp and even health harming harsh and toxic ingredients. Washing hair too frequently is another cause - removes beneficial natural oils and contributes to loss. Find ';Non harmful shampoos, etc'; with Google searches. Some will come up and be expensive or only available on-line so refine search by adding ';low cost'; and ';available in stores'; Find in GNC ,Trader Joes, Some Walmart Stores, Cost Plus, Wegmans, Earth Fare, natural %26amp; health foods stores.
I Have had feed back from someone who has had even more success using treatment. His has substantially regrown in just 6 months.
Wish you the best.

Trichottilomania hair loss shampoo?
i have trichotilomania and i am female and used to have long very thick hair, and i pulled out half of it, alot of it is gone and it feels thin now. i cant do certain hairstyles but theres no bald spots or anything now its just thin
how do i grow the hair back
what kind of shampoo do i use? im a young female in my 20s.
what kind of conditioners, what can i eat or what kind of vitamin?
any kind of miracle cure? i dont want to take female rogain on my hair since i hear if you stop using it it dosnt work anymore and im kind of lazy and stink at sticking to routines.
ill forget it or misplace it somewhere and it wont work anymore
is there something else safer i can doTrichottilomania hair loss shampoo?
year ago I suffered very much from hair loss too and I started trying everything you can imagine to stop my hair loss.
the things that really worked for me was:
1) Vitamin A - an anti-oxidant which promotes healthy production of sebum in the scalp;
2) Vitamin E stimulates circulation. Good blood circulation in the scalp is important in keeping hair follicles productive. The 'B' vitamins contribute to melanin, which gives hair its healthy color and also stimulates blood circulation;
3) massage is also beneficial. Massage stimulates circulation. As already noted, good circulation in the scalp keeps hair follicles active. Experts suggest a few minutes of daily head massage by hand. Circulation through massage may be improved by using a few drops of lavender or bay essential oil in an almond or sesame oil base with massage;
4) Try rubbing your scalp with garlic juice, Onion Juice or Ginger Juice(you can either of one out of three, Do not mix any of two or three);
5) also I used herbal treatment - TrichoZed
It is a good product that helps prevent hair loss and it is an FDA approved product. I think it is very important!
It worked and still works for me!
I do not know if any pharmacies carry TrichoZed but I do know that you should purchase it directly from the manufacturer and read more about the product here http://www.trichozed.info/why.php
It enhances hair growth by blocking DHT (Dihydrotestostrone) - a major cause of hair loss!
good luck!

i saw an indian girl on ripley's believe if or not that had trichotilomania and her stomach started hurting really badly like unbearable pain but when they did ex rays they said her stomach had nothing in it because x rays don't detect hair. when she underwent surgery, she had a 10 pound ball of hair removed from her stomach and it was pretty much as big as her whole stomach and they still have that glob of hair in the ripley's museum. my point of my story is, eating your hair is a nasty habit and you should have more self control than to do it. your hair that you pulled out will eventually go back but you will never see progress if you continue to eat your hair. i suggest horse shampoo called ';tail and mane';. i use it because heard it makes your Hair grow faster and it really does. horse shampoo is available anywhere now a days. my best friend uses pregnancy pills to make her hair grow faster and that method has been extremely effective for her too. but they make you gain a lot of weight but they are effective for people that want long hair growth.
